Katie Barnett is an experienced Android developer and engineer with a robust professional background in technology and consulting. Currently, Katie serves as an Android Evangelist, Team Lead, and Lead Engineer at Bilue since September 2018. Previously, Katie worked at Airbnb as a host from November 2013 to January 2019 and held the role of Managing Consultant at IBM from January 2010 to August 2018, where responsibilities included leading Android development for the IBM Global Events Team and specializing in responsive web user interface, Android app development, and eCommerce site development. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing and a mentor/interviewer role at Fieldworks Market Research. Academically, Katie holds dual Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering and Science (Computer Science) from Monash University, completed in 2009.
