Lada Chu

Lada Chu has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the financial and technology sectors. Lada has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Xtraspots, where they contributed to the development of the company's strategic vision and promoted sustainability practices in urban mobility. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Director at Binance.US, where they led compliance programs and integrations.

Lada also had a significant role as a Senior Vice President at Investors Bank, where they spearheaded the transformation and process improvement of the infrastructure to optimize business growth and mitigate risk. Lada was responsible for ensuring compliance with AML regulations and enhancing employee and customer engagement.

Before joining Investors Bank, Lada held multiple leadership positions at Société Générale, where they oversaw the development and implementation of projects in regulatory affairs and served as a consultant and change manager for KYC operations. Lada also worked as the Deputy BSA/AML Compliance Officer at Habib Bank Limited, where they built an expanded compliance organization to address regulatory orders.

Earlier in their career, Lada worked at Citi in various roles, including SVP of Project Director and SVP of Senior Project Manager. In these positions, they led initiatives to achieve enterprise-wide consistency in KYC standards and managed NA AML programs to ensure compliance.

Lada Chu has a Bachelor's degree in History with a concentration in Economics & Political Science from SUNY Geneseo. Lada also holds additional certifications in ACAMS from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists in 2012, Six Sigma from the University of Texas in 2006, and Series 7, 24, and 63 from NYSE.
