Jérôme BASSIL

Jérôme Bassil is currently an Advisor and Chief Risk Officer at Binance, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, from 2020 to 2025, Jérôme served as the Founder and Head of CMA-CGM Consulting, as well as Deputy Head of Audit, Risk & Compliance at CMA CGM. They also worked as a General Inspector at Société Générale from 2015 to 2020, conducting strategic advisory missions and managing various risk assessments. Earlier in their career, from 2011 to 2014, Jérôme was an Equity Derivatives Structurer at HSBC, focusing on the design and pricing of complex derivatives products. Jérôme holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Paris, which they completed in 2014.
