JP Castellanos is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of Cyber Threat Intelligence at Binary Defense since March 2023, where responsibilities include leading a team to gather, analyze, and disseminate intelligence on cyber threats for the organization's clients. Prior to this, JP worked at Capgemini as a Senior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst from May 2018 to March 2023, supporting a Fortune 12 oil and gas client and specializing in cyber espionage threats from the Middle East and North Africa. JP's earlier experience includes roles such as Cyber Applied Threat Intel Analyst for the Cyber Protection Branch Hunt Team at SAIC, where real-time situational awareness of cyber threats was provided, and various positions at Lockheed Martin and SYTEX, focusing on network operations and hardware maintenance. JP holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Security Systems and an Associate of Science in Computer Network Systems from ITT Technical Institute.
