Zinc Chan has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial design. Zinc started their career in 2004 at Wing Sang Bakelite Electrical Mfy. Ltd., where they worked as an Industrial Designer for two years, focusing on household products. Zinc then joined BarberOsgerby in 2008 as a Product Designer, where they focused on research and design development processes. After that, they joined Aquent as a Senior Product Designer in 2009, working on audio, visual, and multimedia design projects. Zinc worked there until 2010 when they joined Easton-Bell Sports (Asia) as an Industrial Designer and Visual Communication Manager, designing a wide range of products and helping to develop a new design language for the Blackburn brand. Most recently, they worked at Binatone, starting as a Senior Industrial Designer in 2014, then becoming the Industrial Design Manager in 2016, and finally serving as the Creative Director from July 2018 onwards.
Zinc Chan completed a Bachelor's degree of Industrial and Product Design from the University of the Arts London, specifically from Central Saint Martins. This educational journey took place from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, Zinc pursued a Higher Diploma in Product Innovation & Technologies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which was completed from 2002 to 2004.
