Gus Warren has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gus is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Bindle Systems, a public benefit corporation focused on giving individuals control of their digital identities and personal information. Gus founded Bindle in 2020 and has led the company to become a market leader in developing a COVID-19 "health pass" and expanding the platform to include workforce credentials.
Prior to Bindle Systems, Gus worked as an Advisor at Disconnect from 2016 to the present. Gus was also the Managing Director at Samsung NEXT Ventures from 2016 to 2020. Before that, Gus served as a Venture Partner at FirstMark Capital from 2012 to 2015.
Gus has a strong background in co-founding and operating companies, having served as the Co-Founder and COO of Disconnect from 2012 to 2015 and as the Founder of The Millrock Group from 2011 to 2012. Gus also held executive positions at Spot Runner, where they were the SVP & General Manager from 2008 to 2010, and VP Strategic Partnerships from 2006 to 2008.
Additionally, Gus has experience in the corporate sector, having worked as the Executive Director at Time Warner Ventures from 2004 to 2006. Gus also held positions at Granite Ventures (H&Q Ventures) as a Principal from 2000 to 2004 and as an Associate from 1998 to 2000.
Gus started their career as a Product Manager at Internet Profiles (I/Pro) from 1996 to 1998.
Gus Warren attended Cornell University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
