Megan Fegley

Megan Fegley serves as the First-year Research Immersion Program Director at Binghamton University, overseeing a program that engages first-year students in authentic research experiences in sciences and engineering. With a background as Assistant Director and Program Coordinator of the same initiative, Megan has a strong foundation in guiding students through cutting-edge research. Previous research work includes the design and synthesis of fluorescent conjugated polymers for chemosensor applications. In addition, experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant involved teaching general chemistry courses, with a focus on course design and assessment for nursing majors. Megan's role as Communications Chair for the Graduate Student Symposium Planning Committee at the American Chemical Society involved organizing a national symposium. Educational credentials include a PhD and MA from Binghamton University, as well as a BS from Cedar Crest College.
