Tanyah Barnes

Tanyah Barnes is an accomplished mid-level higher education administrator at Binghamton University, currently serving as the Associate Director of Operations in the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and as the Associate Director of the Multicultural Resource Center. With a strong background in event planning, program management, diversity and inclusion, and philanthropy, Tanyah is dedicated to fostering inclusive and transformative educational environments. Previous roles include Interim Assistant Director and Diversity Fellow at Binghamton University, along with graduate assistant positions at the University of South Florida. Tanyah holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in College Student Affairs, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science with a focus on Business Administration.
