Ruben Agadzanjans has over 19 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. Ruben began their career in 2001 as a Software Developer for DataPro, where they gained experience in web programming and database technologies. In 2002, they became a Projects Engineer for Latvian Savings Bank (Krajbanka), where they designed and implemented Java based web portals for internal use of the bank, developed a system for accepting Utility payments and Direct Debit requests from the bank clients, and developed a tool for automated message exchange between the bank's internal system and third-party businesses. From 2005 to 2017, Ruben worked at Blue Coat Systems Canada as a Staff Engineer and Software Engineer, where they worked on Blue Coat Cloud portal development, implemented support for Kapersky, McAfee and other AV vendors API, and developed Java Applet and Flex user interfaces for Blue Coat Proxy SG appliance. From 2017 to 2018, Ruben was a Staff Software Engineer at Symantec, where they were responsible for full stack development of a cloud security product and designing and implementing the customer portal. Currently, Ruben is a Software Engineer at BinSentry, where they are working on developing an Industrial IoT solution for factories, designing and implementing the solution from scratch, and following a microservices pattern with deployment options in cloud and on premises.

Ruben Agadzanjans obtained a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from Latvijas Universitate between 1998 and 2011. Ruben also has three certifications from Coursera: "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" obtained in May 2013, "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" obtained in April 2012, and "Model Thinking" obtained in April 2012.
