Velaneta Limbong

Velaneta Limbong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and vaccine sectors, currently serving as the Senior Officer Commercial & Product and Section Head of Viral Vaccine Quality Control at Bio Farma, Indonesia, since October 2006. Key responsibilities include ensuring the quality of viral vaccines and overseeing in-house reference standardization. Previous roles include QC staff, where vital techniques such as virus titration, ELISA testing, and real-time PCR for residual DNA were performed. Velaneta has also participated in various trainee programs at notable organizations, including the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency and the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines and Healthcare. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
