John Kim

John Kim is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in Lean and Operational Excellence across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Lean/Operational Excellence at Bio-Rad Laboratories since April 2024, John previously held the position of Vice President of Global Continuous Improvement at 3M, where responsibilities included leading a comprehensive Continuous Improvement program across 180+ manufacturing operations and implementing a decentralized strategy for enhanced productivity and efficiency. John’s earlier roles include Senior Director of Global Lean at PerkinElmer, President of John Kim and Associates, and various leadership roles within Lean consulting firms, contributing to strategic improvement initiatives for notable clients in healthcare, manufacturing, and energy sectors. With a strong educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, John has also been an influential speaker at industry conferences, sharing expertise and methodologies for Lean transformation.
