Mustafa Ibrahim

Mustafa Ibrahim is an experienced software engineering leader with a significant background in the medical and diagnostics industry. At Bio-Rad Laboratories, Mustafa serves as the Senior Director of Software Engineering in the Clinical Diagnostics Group, overseeing global cloud product development, including cloud-native applications, IoT devices, and data science initiatives. Previously, Mustafa was the Director and Head of Software Development at the Quality Systems Division, where management and transformation of a large software development organization took place. Prior experience includes a role as Software Engineering Manager at Abbott, responsible for managing a team of over 30 engineers and successfully delivering enterprise web and mobile applications. Mustafa holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
