Nico Vandepoele

Nico Vandepoele possesses extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Global Product Manager Informatics at Bio-Rad Laboratories since March 2004. In this role, responsibilities include the ideation, planning, and productization of web-based software products for interlaboratory comparison and proficiency testing. Previous positions at Bio-Rad include Scientific & Professional Affairs Manager and Instrument Application Specialist, focusing on diagnostic instrument installations and quality control strategies. Prior to Bio-Rad, Nico held the position of Lab Manager at Vivactis, overseeing laboratory setup and test method development, and was a High Throughput Screening team leader at Devgen, progressing from technician to team leader. Nico's career commenced at Labo Medina as a lab technician, specializing in clinical chemistry. Educational qualifications include a degree from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen obtained from 1992 to 1995.
