Nikolas Chmiel

Nikolas Chmiel is an accomplished professional in the field of molecular and cell biology, currently serving as Associate Director of R&D at Bio-Rad Laboratories since September 2007. Chmiel's progression at Bio-Rad includes roles such as R&D Manager II, R&D Manager for Systems Integration, Group Leader, and Staff Scientist, contributing expertise in the Laboratory Separations Division. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Scientist at the University of California, Berkeley from October 2002 to September 2007, where Chmiel conducted NIH-funded research under Jennifer Doudna's mentorship focusing on RNA splicing complexes.
