Scott Crowder

Vice President Of Business Development, Clinical Diagnostics Group at Bio-Rad Laboratories

Scott Crowder has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Scott is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development for the Clinical Diagnostics Group at Bio-Rad Laboratories since November 2020. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2020, they held roles at NanoString Technologies, Inc., including Senior Director of Business Development, New Technologies and Innovation Strategy, and Director of Innovation Licensing and Alliances. Before joining NanoString Technologies, Inc., Scott worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories from 2009 to 2015 in various positions, including Director of Life Sciences Pharma Marketing, Integration and R&D Manager. Scott also served as Divisional Manager for Business Development and held roles in PCR Reagent Manufacturing Process Development as Group Leader and Sr. Scientist. Scott began their career as a Scientist II at Rigel Pharmaceuticals from 2005 to 2009. Scott holds a postdoctoral fellowship from Stanford University School of Medicine, where they worked from 2000 to 2005.

Scott Crowder has a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Scott also pursued postdoctoral studies in Virology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Biochemistry from Rice University.
