Scott Hauenstein

Scott Hauenstein, PhD, currently serves as Associate Director of Scientific Affairs at Bio-Rad Laboratories, a position held since December 2018, where key contributions include leading scientific collaborations in oncology, infectious disease, and reproductive health, as well as developing a publication strategy for FDA cleared ddPCR products related to chronic myeloid leukemia. Previously, Scott held the role of Senior Manager in Scientific Affairs at Hologic, Inc. from July 2014 to November 2018, focusing on the development of TMA-based tests for viral load and diagnosis of HIV and hepatitis, alongside managing a strategic publication plan. Earlier experience includes serving as Associate Director of Research and Development at Prometheus, Partner at siRNA Consulting LLC, and Scientist I at Chimeros, Inc., along with a lecturer position at Cal State Channel Islands. Scott Hauenstein earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry and a BS in Biochemistry from UC Santa Barbara.
