Barbara Seyl Cherekjian

Barbara Seyl Cherekjian has a comprehensive background in information technology and application development. Barbara began their career at Quest Diagnostics in 1981 as a Senior Technologist in the Reagent Department and then took on roles as a Data Administrator and Senior Programmer/Analyst. In 1995, they joined Fame Information Services as a Senior Programmer/Analyst. Afterward, they worked as a Database Application Developer at KnowledgePoint 360 from 2001 to 2003. In 2003, Barbara joined BioReference Laboratories as a Senior Applications Developer for GenPath and eventually progressed to Manager and then Director of GenPath Applications Development. In 2015, they became the Director of Information Technology at BioReference Laboratories.

Barbara Seyl Cherekjian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, in Biology from Gettysburg College, which they completed between 1977 and 1981. Barbara then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Computer Science at Montclair State University, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. Prior to their college education, they attended Manheim Township High School in Lancaster, PA.
