Richard Toon

Richard Toon has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry. Richard co-founded BIORESTORE in 2020 and currently serves as Creative Director. Prior to that, they worked at GANT from 2010 to 2021, holding multiple roles including Head of External License & Projects, Senior Designer Shirts, and Head of Design & Team Leader - Accessories. Before joining GANT, Richard worked as a Senior Designer and Product Manager at Filippa K in 2009 and held various designer positions at Hennes & Mauritz from 2005 to 2009. Richard also worked as a Freelance Design Consultant at Red Collar Project - MNO in 2007 and as a Print Designer at Tim Camino / Art Company in 2005.

Richard Toon attended the University of Brighton from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion and Business Studies. Richard specialized in the field of Fashion with Business Studies during their time at the university. Prior to that, from 1998 to 1999, they attended Loughborough College and completed a BTEC Foundation Studies in Art & Design with a focus on Fashion and pattern making.
