Kristina Lamens

Kristina Lamens, MS, is an experienced professional in the field of microbiology and immunology, currently serving as a Supervisor and Advanced Research Associate/Team Lead at Bio-Techne since November 2019. Previously, Kristina worked at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from August 2016 to November 2019 as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on the role of CD4+ helper T cells in response to human metapneumovirus while also mentoring rotation students and assisting in teaching medical microbiology. Prior to that, Kristina held positions as a Laboratory Technician and Laboratory Volunteer at the University of South Florida, where Kristina developed assays and contributed to neurobiology research related to Angelman syndrome. Kristina's educational background includes a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of South Florida.
