Lydia Tsai

Lydia Tsai has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Lydia currently serves as the Director of Business Development, CDx at Bio-Techne. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Abcam, including Business Development Manager, Commercial Development Manager, Key Account Manager, and Senior Scientist. At Abcam, Lydia was responsible for developing and supporting high-value opportunities within strategic commercial accounts, identifying and managing new strategic partnerships and business relationships, and driving new business opportunities in key accounts across the US. Lydia also gained experience at Epitomics - an Abcam Company as a Project Manager, where they developed and managed external customer relationships and partnerships for the Custom Antibody Services business. Earlier in their career, Lydia worked at Quorum Consulting as an Associate and at Pan Pacific Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate, where they were involved in in vitro laboratory experiments and co-invented an in vitro anti-viral assay.

Lydia Tsai received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000. Lydia then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Integrative Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, completing it in 2009.
