Skyler Stensrud

Skyler Stensrud, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has a comprehensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Skyler started their career as an Accounting Intern at Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer, where they performed various accounting tasks and assisted in financial analysis. Later, they joined Eide Bailly LLP as a Tax Intern, preparing federal and state tax returns for small businesses and individuals, as well as providing tax planning services.

Skyler then moved to KPMG US and worked as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate. There, they prepared and reviewed federal, state, and international tax returns for clients in the financial services industry, assisted in ASC 740 audits, and provided tax consulting services.

Currently, Skyler is working at Bio-Techne, starting as a Financial Analyst and progressing to Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, and currently serves as the Finance Director. In these roles, they have been responsible for financial planning, analysis, and decision making, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning. Skyler has also revamped finance processes, created financial models, managed financial consolidation systems, and collaborated with external consultants to improve accuracy and reporting.
