Yuanyuan Liu

Yuanyuan Liu is a Senior Scientist at Bio-Techne, specializing in machine learning and bioinformatics since August 2017. Key achievements include the development of a deep learning model that significantly improved tumor cell analysis efficiency and the creation of machine learning tools integrated into image analysis software. Previously, Yuanyuan served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, contributing to a study on the PIV5 virus, recognized as a groundbreaking report in PNAS. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Yuanyuan identified critical functions of the TSP-1 protein in cancer development. Yuanyuan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Data Mining from Stanford University, a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Tsinghua University, and a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
