Amy Gu

Ms. Gu brings her broad experience guiding portfolio founders on building and scaling their business to BioAesthetics. Her fascination with new technologies and their impact on the world inspired Ms. Gu to form Hemi Ventures, which under her direction as Managing Partner, has backed over 30 innovative companies to date. Before founding Hemi, Ms. Gu was the first General Manager of Evernote China. During her tenure, she grew the company’s user base to 20 million in under four years. Ms. Gu also served as a growth advisor to Udacity. She received her B.S. in computer engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications before attending the Director’s College at Stanford Law School. Ms. Gu received her M.B.A. from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
