Kevin Wilhelmsen

Kevin Wilhelmsen has a comprehensive work experience in the field of biology and research. Kevin is currently working at BioAge Labs as the Director of Biology since March 2023. Prior to this role, they had worked as the Associate Director of Biology from March 2021 to March 2023, and as a Senior Scientist from January 2019 to March 2021 at the same company.

Before joining BioAge Labs, Kevin was a Senior Scientist at Marin Biologic Laboratories from June 2017 to January 2019. Prior to that, they worked at the University of California, San Francisco, where they held various positions including Assistant Adjunct Professor from February 2014 to June 2017, Principal Investigator / Project Leader from January 2012 to January 2014, Postdoctoral Scholar from January 2011 to December 2011, and SRA II from September 2009 to December 2010.

Kevin also gained valuable experience as a Scientist at A-Cube, Inc. from June 2007 to March 2009, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Netherlands Cancer Institute from September 2003 to January 2007.

Kevin Wilhelmsen earned a B.A. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, from 1992 to 1996. Kevin then pursued a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry at UC San Diego, from 1997 to 2003.
