Naisha S.

Naisha S. has a diverse background in data science and bioinformatics. Naisha is currently the VP of Data Science at BioAge Labs, where they previously held positions as the Senior Director and Director of Data Science. Prior to that, Naisha worked as an Adjunct Associate Professor and Associate Professor at the J. Craig Venter Institute. Naisha also has experience as a Scientist at Amazon and as the Head of Data Science and Analytics at Human Longevity, Inc. In addition, Naisha has worked as a Visiting Post-doctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health and as an Instructor at the Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences. Naisha started their career as a PhD student at University College Dublin and later had a PhD Industrial Placement at Merck Research Labs. Naisha also worked as a Bioinformatics Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia.

Naisha S. holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from University College Dublin, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed a B.Sc. in Computing Science and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University, from 2004 to 2007. Naisha also has additional certifications in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera Course Certificates.
