Kara Paxton

Kara Paxton is a seasoned quality control professional currently serving as a QC Specialist II at BioAgilytix since February 2021, where responsibilities include technical and compliance reviews of data, isolating deviations, and ensuring data integrity within the Bioanalytical Operations group. Prior experience includes roles as a Lab Associate 2 at Q² Solutions, where Kara performed RNA and DNA library preparation assays and processed TaqMan assays, and as a Cytogenetics Technologist at UNC Health Care, focusing on cell culture and chromosome analysis. Earlier work involved positions at BioAgilytix as an Associate Analyst and LabCorp as a Cytogenetics Lab Technologist, along with research assistance at NCSU Genetics Lab and instructional roles at Camp Rockmont for Boys and Montreat Conference Center.
