Joris Mermans

Joris Mermans has extensive work experience in the field of SAP business applications and consulting. Joris started their career at Alcatel with an internship in 2000. Joris then worked as a web developer at Namahn from October 2001 to April 2002. In February 2008, they joined Ctac as a SAP consultant for a short period before moving on to KU Leuven in October 2002. At KU Leuven, Joris worked as a SAP business consultant from May 2008 to February 2016. Following their time at KU Leuven, they joined Miko Group in March 2016 as a SAP developer and later became a team lead for SAP business applications from January 2022 to March 2023. Currently, Joris works as a SAP technical application engineer at Biobest Group, a position they started in April 2023.

Joris Mermans started their education by attending Sint Jozefscollege from 1992 to 1996. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Master in de industriële wetenschappen: elektronica-ICT at Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they undertook Complementary Studies in Informatics at KU Leuven from 2000 to 2001.
