Christopher Edelenbos began their work experience in 2017 as a Student Assistant at UC Davis Bookstore. Christopher then worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the Lein Lab at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine from November 2017 to June 2018. In 2018, they joined the Rizzo Lab at the University of California, Davis as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, and later as a Junior Specialist from October 2018 to September 2019. At the Rizzo Lab, they specialized in Phytophthora surveying and diagnostics, utilizing PCR and Sanger sequencing techniques. Christopher also identified and characterized a new species of Phytophthora. In 2021, Christopher joined Biocare Medical as an Associate I in IHC R&D, where they helped optimize antibodies for automated stainers and contributed to company-wide safety programs. In 2023, they were promoted to Associate II in IHC R&D, continuing their work in antibody research and development.
Christopher Edelenbos obtained their Associate's degree in Biology, General from Diablo Valley College, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Global Disease Biology at the University of California, Davis, from 2016 to 2018.
