Daniel Tourinho started their work experience in 2007 as an intern in supply chain at Bosch. Daniel then interned at Nike in sales operations from 2010 to 2011. From 2013 to 2015, Daniel worked as a financial analyst in FP&A at Essity. Daniel then moved on to become a senior financial analyst in sales and marketing at Essity from 2015 to 2018. Starting in 2018, Daniel worked at Cencora as a senior financial analyst and later as a senior finance manager in commercial finance. In 2022, they joined Amazon as a senior finance business partner and later became an AWS finance leader in FP&A. Currently, Daniel is working at BioCareSD as the finance director and head of commercial finance.

Daniel Tourinho has a diverse education history. In 2004, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Wyden. In 2006, they pursued further education in Business Administration through an executive education program at the University of Victoria. Daniel then went on to complete an International Master in Management program at EADA Business School in 2009, with a focus on Marketing. In 2010, they participated in an exchange program at Audencia as part of their International Master in Management studies. In 2011, Daniel enrolled at Brandeis University and obtained a Master of Science in Finance with a specialization in Corporate Finance. Continuing their executive education, they completed programs at Villanova University in 2015 in Financial Planning, Performance & Control, and at The Wharton School in 2018 with a focus on Business Analytics.
