Shannon began the professional journey in customer service at Southeastern Apparel from May 2006 to May 2007. Educationally, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics/Business Administration/Criminal Justice/Sociology from Troy University, attended from 1992 to 1997, and completed studies at Dothan High between 1989 and 1991.
