Tiruneh Hailemariam

Tiruneh Hailemariam, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Tiruneh currently serves as a Clinical and Medical Affairs Lead at Biocartis since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Clinical Project Manager at Biocartis CDx/Precision Medicine/MDx starting from February 2021.

Before joining Biocartis, Dr. Hailemariam worked at BD as a Senior Clinical Project Leader - Molecular Diagnostics from October 2017.

Tiruneh also has experience at Immucor, Inc., where they served as Sr. Manager, Product Development from August 2016 to October 2017 and as Sr. Scientist from September 2009 to July 2016.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Hailemariam worked as a Research Fellow at New York Blood Center from March 2008 to September 2009.

Tiruneh'searliest work experience includes working as a Researcher at Debrezeit Research Center from February 1993 to December 2000.

Tiruneh Hailemariam, PhD completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Plant Sciences at Alemaya University. Tiruneh then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte from 2001 to 2002. Following this, they obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, studying from 2003 to 2008. In addition, Tiruneh Hailemariam has recently obtained a certification in Clinical Trials Operations from The Johns Hopkins University.
