Todd Birmann

Todd Birmann has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Todd currently holds the position of National Account Executive at Luminex Corporation - A DiaSorin Company. Before that, they served as the Head of Sales Development - US at Biocartis.

In 2021, Todd worked at Lumos Diagnostics as the VP of Corporate Affairs and later as the Area Sales Director. During this time, they partnered with various medical distribution organizations and implemented strategic assessments. Todd also played a key role in optimizing the sales process by utilizing SalesForce.com.

Prior to Lumos Diagnostics, Todd was associated with bioMérieux for a significant part of their career. Todd held several roles, including Regional Sales Director, Immunoassay Specialist, Infectious Disease Marketing Director - US, and Corporate Account Executive. In these positions, they successfully developed and led teams, signed major contracts, and marketed various products and services.

Before joining bioMérieux, Todd gained experience as a Sales Manager (Imaging) at Diagnostic Professionals Inc., an Infectious Disease Consultant (Hospital) at Armchem Medical Division, and a Regional Territory Manager (Genetics) at PGxHealth. Todd also worked as a Regional Sales Manager (Genetics) at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., and as a Sales Specialist (GI) at Novartis.

Throughout their career, Todd has showcased their expertise in sales, developing sales teams, strategic planning, and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders. Their experience spans across various industries, including medical diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.

Todd Birmann earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Communication from Valdosta State University from 1994 to 1998. Todd is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at The University of Georgia from 2021 to 2025.
