Oran Tamir

Oran Tamir is the SVP, R&D at BioCatch. Prior to joining BioCatch, Oran served as the VP R&D at Hexagon Metrology Israel (Cognitens), Engineering Group Manager at Intel Corporation, and the VP R&D Global at Verint Cyber Intelligence Solutions. Oran has also held the position of Director of Hardware and system engineering at N-trig Ltd., which was acquired by Microsoft.

Oran has over 17 years of experience in the field of computer vision and has been instrumental in the development and commercialization of several products in this domain. Oran’s expertise lies in the areas of image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, and product development.

Oran holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Oran Tamir has a B.SC in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from The College of Management Academic Studies.

Oran Tamir reports to Gadi Mazor, CEO. They work with Joseph Turitz - Chief Legal Officer, Oren Kedem - VP, Product Management, and Gili Brudno - Chief People Officer.
