Alistair Michel

Alistair Michel is a highly experienced professional in the field of immunology and assay development, currently serving as the Technical Process Development Lead at BioChek since May 2025, where focus is on enhancing manufacturing efficiency and product performance for the ELISA range. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Scientist II and I at RSSL from May 2020 to May 2025, and as a Senior R&D Scientist and R&D Scientist at BioChek from September 2017 to May 2020. Alistair's career began at Fleet Bioprocessing as a Senior Assay Development Scientist and includes positions at Stratophase Ltd as Laboratory Manager and Biosensor Development Scientist, as well as a Scientist role at Emergent BioSolutions, where assay development and validation for clinical trials were key responsibilities. Alistair holds an MSc in Immunology from Imperial College London and a BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences with a focus on Immunology from The University of Edinburgh.
