Jimmy Jackson has a strong background in public policy and government affairs. Jimmy worked at BIOCOM as the Senior Vice President of Public Policy, where they oversaw all governmental affairs for a large life science trade association. This included developing strategies, analyzing legislation and regulations, lobbying, and managing outreach communications. Jimmy also supervised a team of five.
Before BIOCOM, Jackson worked in the California State Senate as the Chief of Staff for Senator Dede Alpert from 1997 to 2004. Prior to that, they were the District Director for Senator Dede Alpert from 1996 to 1997. Jimmy also gained experience at the California State Assembly as a District Representative from 1990 to 1996.
Jimmy Jackson attended San Diego State University from 1980 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government.
