Michael Litzsinger

Michael Litzsinger is an accomplished statistical programming professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Statistical Programming at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since July 2020, Michael leads the statistical programming capability within the Biometrics department, focusing on the development of study data exploration tools. Previous roles include Associate Director and Senior Manager of Statistical Programming at Project Data Sphere, where responsibilities involved optimizing the use of anonymized data and collaborating on machine learning algorithm development with the FDA. Michael's career includes significant positions at PRA Health Sciences, UCB Pharma, Schwarz Pharma, and IQVIA, where a strong emphasis on statistical programming and data management has been evident.
