Mirko Savone

Mirko Savone currently serves as the Associate Director of Global Medical Communications, Publications at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since June 2025. Prior to this, Mirko held multiple roles at Bristol Myers Squibb from July 2021 to June 2025, including Associate Director of Medical Communications and HEOR Publications Lead. Mirko also worked at Pfizer as a Manager and Research Associate in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) from March 2017 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes serving as Clinical Trials Manager in Pediatric Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center from April 2013 to March 2017, Adjunct Faculty at City University of New York, and Researcher at the Center for HIV/AIDS Education Studies & Training (CHEST). Mirko holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Public Health Informatics from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish Language and Literature from Hunter College.
