Bioculture Group is a world class player in breeding and supplying naturally born 100% Specific pathogen-free non human primates to premier international pharmaceutical companies, universities and non-clinical research organisations.

Founded in 1985, Bioculture Group is the pioneer in cynomolgus monkey breeding and export in Mauritius. From a purely Mauritius-based family business, the organisation has steadily expanded over the years. We currently operate in Mauritius through Bioculture (Mauritius) Ltd (BCM) and in Florida, since 2012, through BC US LLC.

A core mission has been at the heart of our endeavours for the past four decades: “Caring for Life”. Bioculture Group cares for the life of the animals under our care and ultimately for that of hundreds of millions of people around the world who benefit from ground breaking medical research involving non human primates.

All our 9 sites in Mauritius and 3 in the US implement the highest standards of animal welfare, veterinary care and husbandry. All our operations are AAALAC accredited and ISO certified while our housing facilities strictly comply with European ETS 123 norms.

Bioculture Group is now positioning itself as a new operator in the emerging biotechnology industry in Mauritius. We aim to develop non clinical research capabilities both in Mauritius and in the US. To achieve this ambition, we plan on attracting talented research and medical professionals from across the world.
