Taylor Bateman

Taylor Bateman is an accomplished professional in the fields of microbiology and immunology, currently serving as a Senior Business Development Manager at Biocytogen since March 2023. Previously, Taylor held a position as a Scientist at Elevian, Inc., from May 2022 to December 2022, contributing to the preparation of recombinant protein GDF11 for First in Human Clinical Trials. Taylor's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from the University at Buffalo, where research focused on the effects of Toxoplasma gondii on the central nervous system. Taylor gained foundational research experience at Le Moyne College, both as an Undergraduate Student Researcher and Research Assistant, conducting experiments on respiratory regulation in mice and participating in field research on floral diversity in Iceland.
