Katie Fensome

Katie Fensome is an experienced professional in biodiversity and environmental management, currently serving as Associate Director at Biodiversify since August 2023. Previously, Katie held the position of Principal Consultant and Sustainable Value Chains Lead at The Biodiversity Consultancy Ltd from September 2020 to July 2023 and served as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager at Proforest from March 2017 to August 2020. Katie's early career includes roles as Project Officer at both TFT - The Forest Trust and Bruno Manser Fonds, where responsibilities included designing a forest monitoring program and mapping logging activities. Katie also gained experience as a Forest Compass Intern at the Global Canopy Programme and as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Apiculture and Social Insects, contributing to research on insect pollinators. Katie Fensome holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a Human Sciences BSc from the University of Sussex.
