Julia Gulka is a highly skilled quantitative ecologist currently employed at the Biodiversity Research Institute since October 2018, where responsibilities include conducting and supporting quantitative analysis of wildlife data using R. Prior experience includes serving as a marine biologist and assessment and planning assistant with the Vermont Land Trust, focusing on water quality projects, and several research assistant roles that involved seabird monitoring, foraging behavior studies, and conservation efforts at various institutions such as Point Blue Conservation Science and James Cook University. Julia holds a Master’s Degree in Biology from the University of Manitoba and a degree in Conservation Biology from Middlebury College.
