Brady Cottam

Brady Cottam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they worked as a cGMP Document Writer at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC, where they created functional excel batch records using VBA and other tools to support manufacturing processes. Brady also assisted with software testing and troubleshooting in compliance with FDA, ISO, and MDSAP procedures.

From 2014 to 2016, Brady worked at BioFire Defense as a Manufacturing Software Project Manager, providing technical support for the company's MES and Quality Management Systems. Brady also built excel documents integrated with software solutions.

Brady then took on roles as an Application Engineer/Business Systems Analyst and as a Software/Data Engineer - Project Lead at BioFire Defense. In these roles, they maintained 3rd party software tools, databases, and data warehouses. Brady also created and maintained data pipelines, implemented process improvements, and built reports and dashboards using various software tools.

In 2021, Brady became the Industrialization and Systems Manager at BioFire Defense, where they led business intelligence and data analytics projects. Brady also built and maintained data pipelines and databases, developed the company's MES and BI/KPI reporting systems, and implemented process improvements.

Brady's work experience also includes roles at Spiff Inc as a Principle Reporting Consultant and Solutions Architect/Reporting Consultant, where they provided reporting solutions and consulting services.

More recently, Brady worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Fivetran, contributing to the development and implementation of solutions.

In 2023, Brady joined BioFire Defense again, this time as a Business Systems Manager.

Brady Cottam obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development from Western Governors University from 2015 to 2018. In 2011, they also received certification as a Certified Personal Trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Additionally, in 2010, they completed a program in Massage Therapy at the Utah College of Massage Therapy. Brady has obtained several certifications including CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA in September 2018, CIW User Interface Design from CIW Web Certification Programs in February 2018, and CIW HTML5 & CSS3 Specialist from CIW Web Certification Program in November 2017. Brady also holds certifications in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+.
