Chris Loughnane

Chris Loughnane has a diverse work experience in various roles related to product management, engineering, and manufacturing. Chris currently serves as the Director of Product Management, Hardware at Biofourmis, starting from 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Advisor at Lura Health from 2018. From 2020 to 2023, they held the position of Senior Engineer and Technical Program Manager at Verily. At Empatica, they served as the EmbracePlus Product Manager from 2017 to 2020 and as the Director of Mechanical Engineering from 2016 to 2020. Before that, they worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Continuum in 2015, and as a Lead Mechanical Engineer at Quanttus from 2013 to 2015. Chris also worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Farm Design, Inc. from 2008 to 2013, as a Mechanical Engineer at Altitude Inc. in 2007, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Raytheon in 2006. Their early experience includes a role in Manufacturing Engineering at Senior Operations, Metal Bellows in 2005.

Chris Loughnane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a specialization in Biomechanics and Human Factors from Northeastern University. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Patent Agent from the United States Patent & Trademark Office in 2012.
