Ong Karen

Ong Karen has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Ong is currently working at Biofourmis as the Director of Finance, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Finance Manager at Biofourmis from June 2022 to February 2023, and as a Senior Accountant from May 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Biofourmis, Ong Karen worked at San Qing Gong from July 2015 to May 2021 as an Assistant Accounts Manager. In this role, they managed multiple entities including charities, societies, and for-profit organizations, handling tasks such as full set accounting, secretarial work, tax planning, GST, and audit.

Ong also gained experience as an Accountant at Zen Landscape Pte Ltd from January 2014 to June 2015, and as a Finance Associate at Hewlett-Packard Singapore from July 2008 to July 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Finance Executive at Prisco Singapore Pte Ltd from March 2012 to November 2012, and as a Bank Clerk at OCBC Bank from January 2005 to December 2007.

Ong Karen completed their Professional Certificate in Accounting and Finance at ACCA from 2013 to 2017. Ong also pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Accounting at Oxford Brookes University, completing it in 2016. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Six Sigma Foundations from LinkedIn and is an Accountant accredited by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
