Raghu Mallena

Raghu Mallena is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and product development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Global Chief Technology Officer at Wadhwani Foundation since September 2018, Raghu is focused on leveraging AI to create platforms and products that promote global job creation. Previous roles include Co-founder and CTO at Plackal Tech, where leadership was demonstrated in developing the Maya app for women's health, and Technical Advisor at VuNet Systems, overseeing product strategy and customer engagement. Raghu has held senior engineering positions at Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems, leading large teams in the security domain, and played a pivotal role in establishing engineering operations at Network Appliance. With a Master's degree in Distributed Computing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Raghu brings a strong technical and managerial background to all endeavors.
