Shane Chesson

Shane Chesson is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Founding Partner at Openspace Ventures since January 2014, Shane has a robust background in investment banking, having held the position of Managing Director at Citigroup from August 2004 to March 2013 and worked as an Associate at Merrill Lynch from January 2000 to April 2003. Early career experience includes a role as an Associate Consultant at Bain and Co / GEM Consulting between 1997 and 1999. Shane holds an MBA from INSEAD (2003-2004) and dual degrees in Law and Finance (LLB/BCom) from The University of Western Australia (1992-1996).
