Andrei Huang

Andrei Huang is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in high-performance computing (HPC) across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Head of HPC at Biogen since February 2022, Andrei has successfully developed HPC infrastructure strategies, aligned stakeholder interests, and managed budgets to enhance drug discovery efforts. Prior to Biogen, Andrei held roles at Analysis Group and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, providing leadership in HPC systems engineering and advisory capacities. Additionally, Andrei contributed to the design and optimization of HPC storage solutions at RAID Incorporated and gained foundational experience in research computing at the Florida Institute of Technology. Andrei holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, complemented by a strong early education at Waterford Kamhlaba UWCSA.
