Eileen Rivera

Eileen Rivera serves as the Global Head of Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition at Biogen since June 2019, where responsibilities include leading a team of over 50 talent acquisition experts and overseeing approximately 8,500 annual hires. Prior to Biogen, Eileen held the position of Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Shire from January 2016 to May 2019, where leadership involved transforming the talent acquisition function during two major acquisitions. Eileen's extensive background in talent acquisition also includes roles such as Senior Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific and several positions at Biogen Idec, Sekisui Diagnostics, Sunovion Pharmaceuticals, and Kenexa. Eileen holds a Bachelor's Degree in Entrepreneurial Studies and Marketing from Babson College.
