Eric Milliman

Eric Milliman is a Senior Principal Data Scientist at Biogen since October 2018, providing analytics solutions for R&D and clinical development programs. Current projects include patient enrollment forecasting, development of Shiny dashboards, cloud engineering, and biomarker analysis. Eric is also a Committee Member of the R Consortium's Infrastructure Steering Committee, contributing to the oversight of infrastructure projects within the R community. Previously, Eric held positions as a Data Scientist at BERG Health, focusing on multi-omics analysis for drug discovery, and as a Research Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, leading a project on DNA architecture and cellular responses. Earlier experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo and a Phlebotomist at Munson Medical Center. Eric holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University at Buffalo, a Master's Certificate in Applied Statistics and Data Management from NC State University, and a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Forensics Chemistry from Ohio University.
