Jeremy Furtado

Jeremy Furtado is an accomplished Associate Director of Epidemiology at Biogen, with extensive experience in public health and research. Previously, at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Jeremy directed the Nutritional Biomarker Laboratory, focusing on antioxidant and fatty acid profile analysis, while also extending assay offerings to include additional nutritional biomarkers. With a strong background in study design, grant writing, and protocol development, Jeremy has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Simmons College, teaching research methods to students in health care fields. Earlier career experience includes roles as an Analytical Technician and Analytical Chemist at Merchandise Testing Laboratories. Jeremy holds a ScD in Nutrition from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a BS in Biology from Stonehill College.
